Holiday Lookbook 2016

So Christmas has passed but the holiday season is my favorite time of the year so I’ve compiled a holiday lookbook with a few of my favorite outfits for the season. I wore two of these outfits and one of them is perfect for just hanging out. It’s still the holiday season in my head!

LOOK 1

This plaid suit is super comfy and effortless but can make plaid cool.

I paired my Zara tartan blazer with my $19 Joe Fresh pants (what a steal) along with an Old Navy t-shirt, and Adidas Stan Smith sneakers. It’s incredible that this blazer and pant set are from different stores, but I hunt for clothes at cheaper prices. The t-shirt and sneakers make the suit super casual and wearable for everyday activities.

I’m all about getting the most bang for your buck. If you have pant suits you wear to work or any formal occasion, don’t just limit it to those places. Throw on a t-shirt and some sneakers — you’ve got a whole new look for no extra cost.

Challenge yourself: reinvent some of your more formal pieces by pairing it with much more casual pieces. 

LOOK 2

I wore this beautiful red dress at my office’s Christmas party and it definitely made me feel amazing. I paired this Zara red dress with my Asos heels; yes, I will shamelessly wear Christmas colors from head to toe.

LOOK 3

I wore this super cute and “Christmasy” outfit to church on Christmas Eve. The top and skirt are from J. Crew (with 40% off plus an extra 15% off with your student ID) and the shoes are from J. Crew Factory.

I always need a pop of color in my outfits and the metallic oxford definitely did the job!
