The past two weeks have been filled with sun, rain, snow, and a very confused Shenika. I usually plan my outfits for the week on Sunday evening (I have no time to put outfits together at 6:30am before work), but the varying temperatures have had me wearing flats in the snow and a puffer jacket in 60 degree weather — not my best days. While I love to be prepared for the day’s weather, I have not being doing a good job. Here are two looks I wore within the past two weeks; obviously in two different temperatures. So whether the winter months are freezing or warming up a bit too much, don’t forget to make sure your style follows suit.
Real Winter Apparel:
Outfit Details:
Turtle Neck – Forever 21
Leather Jacket – Forever 21
Faux Fur Vest – Forever 21
Pants – Zara
Booties – Madewell
Gloves – Aldo Accessories
Style tip: I rather invest in a faux fur vest, than a faux fur coat. I’m able to throw the vest over any jacket for a whole new jacket overtime!
Fun fact: The house behind me is Jackie Robinson’s home when he played on the Brooklyn Dodgers! I literally live around the corner from this national historic landmark.

How have you guys been coping with this bipolar weather? I’ve gone from wearing a puffer jacket to wearing a light trench — not ideal for me. Let me know what you think!
