Fall is in full swing and the trees aren’t the only thing that should be beautiful. Our outfits can also steal the show this fall and I have some tips on how to ensure that you are getting maximum style! Below are my 3 tips to a stylish fall!
TIP #1: STATEMENTS COATS
My favorite fall statement coat is my HATCH x. J. Crew trench-cape. How many times have you seen a trench-cape!? I’LL WAIT. I can throw this coat over any outfit and it automatically becomes much more elevated and chic. You can buy my coat HERE!
Wearing a bold coat is a great way to stay stylish while keeping warm during the colder months! I love statement coats because you can throw it over the most bland outfit — and there, you have a look! As the days get colder, most people won’t see your outfit until you get in the office or get to work. So having a statement coat is vital in ensuring your look shows off your personality and style. When choosing a coat, make sure to find a cut that is flattering for your body and most important, something that you’re comfortable in! Play around with textures and colors to elevate any simple outfit. Check out some inspiration below!
TIP#2: FANCY FEET
Okay so it’s cold outside, we get it — wear cute coats. But besides your coat, what’s left on display? Your shoes! Fall is the perfect time to pull out your best selection of boots, (appropriate flats), and sneakers.
My favorite fall flats are the J. Crew Academy Penn Loafers with faux fur trim. Find them HERE! Although flats are primarily worn in warmer weather, the fur trim allows for these flats to shine during fall and winter. Below, I paired them with a tartan jeweled top and green pant.
TIP#3: ACCESSORIZE, ACCESSORIZE, ACCESSORIZE
Now that we’ve covered our shoes & coat, the only thing we can do is ACCESSORIZE that already stylish outfit. Accessories can take our outfit to the next level and complement an outfit that is too dull. Hats, scarf, hair accessories, gloves, etc. There is an endless amount of ways you can show your style through accessories. Check out some inspiration for how you can do just that!
