Grenada Vacation Lookbook 2019

Hey everyone, I AM BACK! And back with another lookbook! If you follow me on social media, you would know that I went to Grenada this summer with my family and boyfriend. My parents are both from Grenada and I have been to Grenada very frequently since I was born so this trip was one that I knew I would love. Not only was this an opportunity to spend time with my family and friends who live there, but Grenada was the perfect backdrop for summer outfits for both me and family.

If you have never been to Grenada, I urge you to visit. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in the world, has the best people, the best food, the best music…..you can tell I love this place. Luckily my parents saw it fit for me to spend a lot of time there growing up so I am very acquainted with the area and the people around my family home.

So, let’s start on my looks! My first look is a bright, neon maxi dress with neon sandals. I was standing outside of Charlie’s Bar in St. George’s. My family and I were on an island tour and had to stop to take pictures! How beautiful is it!?

Dress: Zara
Sandals: Old Navy (4 years old)
Necklace: J. Crew (matching with my niece)
Both items were bought for under $20

This next picture was taken in Grenville, Saint Andrew. I saw this location on IG (haha) and decided that my (very fashionable) aunt and myself HAD to take pictures here. Luckily, my uncle did not live too far so we were able to stop by for a few pictures. Also, my boyfriend Matthew jumped in for some of the shots!

Look #2 was taken on the Carenage in St. George’s. I fell in love with this dress and decided to style it with red and white accessories. I promise I am not biased when I say Grenada is the most beautiful place in the world! Do you see the perfect rainbow? My boyfriend is also featured here!

Dress: My friend’s closet šŸ™‚
Shoes: Steve Madden
Bag: Pretty Little Thing
Glasses: Bando

Look #3 was taking on the world famous Grand Anse Beach (the most beautiful beach in the world)! I did not get many pictures because I was spending a lot of quality time with my mom and boyfriend, but I managed to get 1 in for memory purposes.

Swimsuit: Icon Swim
Glasses: Brooklyn Street Vendor

Look #4 was also taken on Grand Anse beach but I was on a stop during a boat ride. I loved this look so much because the romper’s material were perfect for a very hot day. A lot of this outfit I got from both my mom and aunt’s closet šŸ˜‰

Romper: Pretty Little Thing
Necklace: J. Crew by way of my aunt’s closet
Glasses: Aldo Accessories by way of my mom’s closet
Shoes: Steve Madden
Bag: Zara by way of my aunt’s closet

Look #5 very not intended to be an outfit. I really wanted to wear the pants but my aunt was not a huge fan, so I just threw them on with the first shirt I found. Again, this picture was taken right outside of Grand Anse Beach (obviously it’s my favorite place).

Top: Zara
Pants: Zara
Shoes: Banana Republic
Glasses: Brooklyn Street Vendor

These last few pictures are my costume for Spicemas 2019!!!!! This year I played with Lavish the Band in the section “Flush.” This was a frontline only section with only a limited amount of spots so my god sister and I quickly had to register for the section (it sold out in less than 30 minutes). The green option was my Monday wear for Carnival Monday, while the big feathers are worn for Carnival Tuesday in the parade.

Hope you enjoyed all these looks! And if you haven’t before, take a visit to the Spice Isle, Grenada!

Xo,

Fashenika!
